How to Create a Studio Account
Setting up your photography studio account on Albumya takes less than two minutes. A studio account allows you to create customized client workspaces, upload high-resolution event folders, watermark review grids, and compile digital 3D flipbook albums.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Studio Signup Page
Navigate to the Albumya homepage (http://localhost:3000) and click the 'Studio Signup' button in the top header. You can also go directly to http://localhost:3000/studio-signup in your browser.
Fill Out the Registration Form
Enter your Photography Studio Name, a unique Studio Username (this creates your public profile link, e.g. albumya.com/creator/yourusername), Email Address, Password, Mobile Number, and Location. Click the 'Next' arrow button at the bottom of the page.
Select a Subscription Tier
On the plan selection screen, choose your storage tier: Free Trial (250 MB storage for testing), Studio (3 GB storage for active workloads), or Studio Plus (5 GB storage for large events). Click the tier card to select it and complete the signup process.
Access the Settings Panel for Branding
After signup, you are redirected to the Studio Dashboard (/dashboard). Click the Settings button (or gear icon) in the header. Here, click the upload box to upload your studio's brand logo image.
Configure Watermark Protection
In the Settings panel, find the Watermark Text field. Enter your studio name (e.g. '© Golden Hour Photography'). Click Save. The system will automatically overlay this watermark on all low-resolution client thumbnails to protect your copyright.
Uploading your logo on day one ensures all client-facing pages (gallery reviews, photo selection views, and 3D digital albums) reflect your studio identity immediately in the page headers.
The Free Trial plan grants 250 MB of S3 storage. Upgrade to Studio (3 GB) or Studio Plus (5 GB) at any time through the dashboard to accommodate full-resolution RAW or JPEG uploads.
